Our PetDesk App
Our PetDesk app lets you refill prescriptions, access your pet’s records, and manage appointment requests, all in one place.
What is PetDesk?
This is a free app you download to your phone to help you communicate with our office to ask questions, schedule appointments, refill medicine, view vaccines status, confirm appointments and setup reminders to give medication like the monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
How do you connect with our office on PetDesk?
You will receive an invite from our office via email. This will prompt you to download the app if you haven’t already downloaded it. If you didn’t receive the invitation, please let us know and we will resend the invitation. We will need to have an email address on file to send you an invitation.
How to use PetDesk
When you go into the app you will see your pets’ names on the top of the screen. You can go into each pet to get information on them, request an appointment or set up medication reminders.
- To request an appt or add a list: Press the blue plus sign in the bottom right corner. You will be able to request appointments, add a to do list or add a pet.
- To create a to do list: Select to create to do then it will take you to the next screen. You will select the pet you want to create the to do for, you will select the reason give medication, remind to schedule a future appointment. Enter the to do list name and select continue you will select the date and time. Next you will select the remind me option and the frequency. You have the option to sync it with your phone calendar. Make sure to hit create to save the to do list item.
- To request an appointment: Select the blue plus sign and select request an appointment. You will select the pet the name, and reason for the appointment. You can enter the desired date and time and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Make sure to hit submit so we receive the request.
- To refill medication: Follow the same steps as to request an appointment but select medication refill. You will need to enter the medication name, dose and quantity you are requesting to be refilled. You can also enter a time you would like to have the prescription ready. Please understand we do need to get doctor approval and need at least two days to refill prescriptions for items we have on hand. Special order items or large quantity items will need to have one week notice to order it. Make sure to hit submit.
Pre-appointment questions are also available on your app under providers. You can complete the appointment questions prior to your appointment to allow you more time to answer the questions.
